Councilman Valencia is a full-time Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and has been with the Sheriff’s Department for over 28 years. As a Deputy Sheriff, Councilman Valencia has been a recipient of numerous awards including, but not limited to:
